Dr Robert Abraham, Specialist in Prosthodontics, is a long-standing Specialist Prosthodontist, working in Central London for over 20 years. Having been introduced to Neoss by Lloyd Searson, he has been successfully using the Neoss implant system for the duration of this time.
His professional training includes a Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics at the School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, USA.
On his return to the UK, he was appointed as a Senior Specialist Clinical Teacher at King’s Dental Institute, London. His academic experiences have covered undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as clinical research. This included a variety of important areas such as ceramics used in dentistry, alternatives to amalgam filling materials and the use of air abrasion in dentistry. His interest in teaching and research enabled him to present papers and courses in the UK and internationally including invitations to institutions in Hong Kong, Argentina and Sri Lanka, as well as several European cities.
After 24 years of part-time teaching and research, he then chose to devote all his time to private practice. He is now in the very fortunate position of being able to work with his daughter, Emilie, who is also a specialist in the same field. Together they can combine her modern training with his in-depth experience, ensuring theor patients continue to receive high quality care. Having spent nearly all his academic and professional life involved in analogue dental techniques he is now, with the help of his daughter and Neoss, introducing digital technology into his clinical practice.
